Consists of correspondence and research files compiled by Ms. Moore in her capacity as editor of Pay dirt magazine and The Mining journal. Contains extensive information on various aspects of federal regulation relating to mining operations including labor, mine safety, monetary policy, environmental protection, use of public lands, taxation and trade policy. The bulk of the collection concerns federal regulation and corporate management of mining operations in the southwestern United States from 1945-1970.
